The forth common training and meeting of the participants of the Erasmus+ Sport Project

Table tennis players from Serbia and Poland met in Tarnobrzeg for the forth meeting as part of the project “Para table tennis as a tool for social integration of people with disabilities”, funded by the European Union from the Erasmus+ Sport Programme.

Date and place: 13-16/07/2023, Tarnobrzeg (Poland)

Agenda:

13/07/2023 – Arrival in Tarnobrzeg. One table tennis training.

14/07/2023 – Participation in the 16th International Friendly Tournament of the Slavs in table tennis – singles tournament.

15/07/2023 – A trip to the Tarnobrzeg market square. Participation in the 16th International Friendly Tournament of Slavs in table tennis – team tournament.

16/07/2023 – Participation in the 16th International Friendly Tournament of Slavs in table tennis – OPEN tournament. End of the meeting.

Summary of the meeting:

Table tennis players with disabilities from Serbia and Poland completed the fourth training campaign as part of the common meetings and trainings with the Serbian national team with the framework of the Erasmus+ Sport Project “Para table tennis as a tool for social integration of people with disabilities”.

The players had the opportunity to take part in the 16th International Friendly Tournament of Slavs in table tennis. Three competitions were played during three days: singles, team games and OPEN tournament. 57 competitors from Poland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Lithuania took part in the competition. The players could exchange information, related to the tactics of playing para table tennis.

In addition, one day, they took part in a trip to the Tarnobrzeg market. It has strengthen social bonds between the participants of the Project from Serbia and Poland.

All common training and meeting goals have been achieved.
