The sixth common training and meeting of the participants of the Erasmus+ Sport Project

Table tennis players from Serbia and Poland met in Bydgoszcz for the sixth meeting as part of the Project “Para-table tennis as a tool for social integration of people with disabilities”, financed by the European Union from the Erasmus+ Sport Programme.

Date and place: Bydgoszcz, 05-13.08.2023

Agenda:

05/08/2023 – Arrival at the Zawisza Club in Bydgoszcz.

06/08/2023 – Two table tennis training and meeting sessions. Common analysis of games from international competitions.

07/08/2023 – City tour, trip to the market square in Bydgoszcz.

08/08/2023 – General development exercises, sports, games and activities with elements of table tennis.

09/08/2023 – Gym classes. One table tennis training.

10/08/2023 – Two table tennis training sessions – tactical training in table tennis.

11/08/2023 – One table tennis training and meeting. Activities in a pool.

12/08/2023 – International table tennis match Serbia vs Poland.

13/08/2023 – End of the common and training meeting.

Summary of the meeting:

Polish and Serbian table tennis players with disabilities have completed the sixth meeting as part of the Project, financed by the EU Erasmus+ Sport Programme.

Together with Serbian Partners, Polish coaches conducted common trainings, meetings and exchanged experiences in para table tennis. At the end, once again, everyone played a control international match between Serbia and Poland.

Project Partners from Serbia had the opportunity to try Polish cuisine every day. In the evenings, everyone were meeting, discussing and exchanging intercultural experiences, related to sports in Partner countries. They were also talking about various Paralympic disciplines.

In addition to table tennis trainings and meetings, project participants took part in general development activities, such as games, plays and physical activities, as well as gym classes. Participants also took part in activities in the indoor swimming pool.

Moreover, as part of the cultural programme, one day, the participants of the Project visited the historic market square in Bydgoszcz.

All the objectives of the common meeting and training have been achieved.
